I reached out to Kelsey because, I was getting sick pretty frequently and knew I needed some guidance with my daily nutrition. When I started getting into running more seriously, it became even more obvious that I was not giving my body what it needed. I knew if I was going to continue being consistent in my running, I needed to make some changes and needed help figuring out just what it was that I needed to change and implement to help get me to a healthier place. 

Prior to working with Kelsey, my biggest challenges were skipping meals a lot, never ate breakfast, never ate fruit.

I knew I was not eating enough in life and definitely not eating enough as a runner but I was getting frustrated by my own mental block of how to eat enough. 

 

Now, I continue to be shocked that eating breakfast is now a part of my routine and has become second-nature. I’m also taking notice of hunger cues that did not exist before which is amazing!

Since working with Kelsey, my nutrition and performance is honestly like night and day. It’s amazing how much of an impact the smallest change can make. I make it a point to eat something before a run and now can’t imagine going for a run on a completely empty stomach as I was doing before working with Meteor. I feel stronger, more awake, and overall just so much better. 

For anyone considering working with Kelsey - they say health is wealth so if you’re even considering joining, you should. It’s eye-opening to see where you’re at and what you should be doing but Meteor gives you the guidance and encouragement to really be successful in getting your nutrition in check. I am so happy I prioritized looking at my nutrition, especially going into race season and you will be too.
